Kasem Minzey

During our all-school mass in April, we recognize Bishop Rhoades as he visits Saint Joseph High School. During his visit, Bishop Rhoades took the time to engage with classes and students throughout the day. We also took a look at the Saint Joseph Scholars with their academic achievements and labeled the valedictorian and salutatorian for the class of 2023. At the end of Mass we saw Madeline Wroblewski, Evan Eggleson, and Miss Erin McNulty as our Community Award Winners for the month of April.

Madeline is a helpful, compassionate, nurturing, spirited, and a strongly positive person with a Christlike behavior in the classroom. She always finds a way to let her other classmates feel comfortable and safe with her presence and is dedicated to see the good in the community. She also has a desire to nurture the success and flourishing of others. In her free time, Wroblewski volunteers at the food bank and is involved in NHS, H.O.P.E, Right to Life Club, peer ministry, Unity Council, Cheerleading, and is a member of our softball team. She is also an Altar Server at her home parish Corpus Christi.

Evan is described as friendly, kind, respectful, having a witty sense of humor, and a person who takes his faith seriously. He is a type of person to bring the positive energy in the class, gives great feedback, and tries to obtain as much information as possible. Within Saint Joe, Evan is involved in Chess Club, Prayer Blanket Ministry, the crew for Footloose, and he is a member of our amazing Quiz Bowl Team. From beyond Saint Joseph, Eggleson serves at Our Lady of the Road and Food Bank of Northern Indiana.

Miss McNulty has been thought out as kind, caring, enthusiastic, always well prepared for class, positive, and supportive of her students. Her dedication towards this school is thorough, detailed, and creative for all of her students success. She graduated from Catholic University in 2018 and got her Masters in Teaching from the University of Notre Dame through the ACE program in 2020.  She has been our co-SADD Club moderator, served as an Assistant cross country coach and track and field coach, and is in her 3rd year  teaching English at Saint Joe.

Make sure to congratulate Madeline, Evan, and Miss McNulty.
