As we have a 3 day weekend this weekend and a 4 day weekend next week, there will be lots of down time. What is there to do???
In not so fun news you should try to catch up on school work and continue to study as school is in full swing now. Not procrastinating is key so spending these days off effectively will help make good study habits. Staying on schedule will help when returning to still get good sleep.
Now to the fun stuff…
Having something to do can help in occupying your time. Although it doesn’t seem like there is much to do around, there are a lot of things to do in South Bend and many other surrounding cities.
Howard park is a great place to go to just hang out and have fun. Surrounding the area are lots of restaurants and fun activities to go and explore. A highly recommended restaurant near Howard Park is The Lauber or Barnabees pizza.
The next fun thing to do is Niles Haunted House. The Haunted house is open each year for about 7 weeks and opens next Friday the 8th. If you are looking for a fun night with friends and family then Niles is the right place for you.
If you enjoy watching sports, Notre Dame plays tomorrow vs Tennessee State. Next Saturday on the 9th they will play NC State. two weeks later Notre Dame plays Ohio state so start getting pumped for this very big rivalry.
The last thing you can do over your break is spend time with family. Spending time with family sometimes gets pushed off because everyone is always so busy. School, sports, and extracurriculars take up more than 50% of people’s time during the week so take this break as an advantage and spend some quality time with your loved ones.
