Homecoming week. A week of fun and filled with with lots of events. A dance, a football game, a pep rally, and a whole week of dressing up in fun themes! On Monday the theme was Zoom day, on Tuesday the theme was Barbie vs. Oppenheimer day, on Wednesday the theme was Rhyme for no reason, on Thursday the theme was Birds, and on Friday the theme was Spirit day.

On Friday we also had a pep rally where the cheerleaders and Band performed for us and both did an incredible job. The homecoming court played an intense game of volleyball against the teachers. And as expected the homecoming court won and got to take home a trophy. The homecoming court included Meg Baxter, Elliot Mark, Tyler Brown, Riley Zache, Mary Appleton, Katie Boyd, Jerry Barca, Luke Kaufhold, Anna Hill, Marley Annis, Jack Helm, and Murphy Wiginton.

The football game was on Friday against New Prairie. The score was 29-26 as Saint Joe lost a close game by 3 points. The theme was Barbie and Ken in support of the homecoming dance. Elliot Mark and Riley Zache took the crowns home, winning homecoming king and queen. On Saturday night the Homecoming dance took place in the Aux gym, and the theme was Barbie and Ken. You could really feel the energy in the room with all the different shades of pink – making Homecoming week a definite success.
