Elliot Mark is a senior here at Saint Joe who attended Saint Joseph Grade School right down the road. He has lived in the area all his life and his effects are felt all throughout the community. An active member of Cross Country, Track, and Theatre, Mark has been the class secretary for three years in Student Government, Mark has surely left a mark on his classmates.
Mark has become a well-known senior through his triumphs in the Drama department as he has had lead roles in many of the productions, most recently being cast as Juror Number 8 in the upcoming 2023 fall play 12 Angry Jurors. However, he truly shines in the Spring Musicals, most recently serenading the audience with the words of wisdom his “Mama Says” as the humble country bumpkin Willard Hewitt in Footloose. He even intends to study Musical Theatre after High School.
As for his accolades in Cross Country and Track, he has been in both sports all four years and has slowly risen in the ranks. He is on varsity this year and has said that it is “probably the best decision I made in high school.” He then went on to say “Cross Country helps you build a good work ethic and humility that I don’t think any other activity can build.” Needless to say Mark is just as passionate on the track as he is on the stage.
Mark has come to be known throughout the school and the community as a whole. His future achievements may very well make him known throughout the nation. He is a truly remarkable member of the Saint Joseph High School community.
