Lil Tecca has been in the music industry for a while and has released his 4th studio album “TEC.” While “We Love You Tecca” was a massive hit and easily his best album, he hasn’t had another well-rounded project since then. Virgo World was a disappointment and We Love You Tecca 2 didn’t hit the same as the first. Something that made fans so happy about this album because it was the type of music fans had been wanting from Tecca for a while.
TEC is an album that has 16 tracks and is 38 minutes long so the listen is neither too long nor too short. Another really good thing about this album was the transitions. Tecca made sure to use transitions from one song to the next to keep listeners engaged. Some of the best transitions on the album were Yves to HVN on Earth, Gist to 500lbs, TEC to Salty, and Real Discussions to Dead or Alive.
Another strong point is the production. Some of the producers on this album were BYNX, Tecca himself, and others. As a mainly solo project, fans were happy there were only two feature performances because they wanted an album that was mainly Lil Tecca and not other artists.
This album felt like a sign in the right direction for the future as his past 2 albums were lackluster. This album sounds like he found his sound and now knows what type of music he’ll be making in the future. If he can keep making projects like this in the future, Tecca can stay high in the rap game. Overall I would give this album a 9.5/10 because there are some really high points in this album and is nearly a perfect listen from start to finish.
