This hockey season promises to be very fun and energetic.
Despite featuring a young team of 9 freshman and 13 sophomores, expectations remain high. Leader Anthony Tirotta looks to be central to the team’s success. A year ago Tirotta was outstanding with a string of multi-goal performances. Last year the team was anchored by star goalie Zach Yergler who graduated last year, but that role will now be filled by Annabelle Ahlersmeyer. Games begin early in October prior to the end of fall sports so some freshman will have a chance to get varsity experience at the beginning of our season. Some key contributors to watch out for include #75 Colten Edman (center), #10 Anthony Tirotta (forward), and #52 Owen Balint (defense).
The players hope to see fans out in force at the games as they open play against Munster on October 6th at Compton Arena. They also play SW Blades on Friday October 13th at the Ice Box.
