There is a service opportunity at Pin Hook park. The event is called treats on the trail. If you would like to take this opportunity there are only five spots left so join quickly from the email from Mr. Oross or you can join through the service app Mobile Serve. This is a great opportunity because you get four hours of service and its quite easy.
Help greet and manage the attendees, monitor and play with the families in the kid’s area, and hand out the free candy, pumpkins and apples that we have for the community that attend. We expect around 2,000 attendees. Sponsored by South Bend Parks and recreation. Check in at the Pinhook Park Pavilion with Hannah Teshka, Pinhook Community Center Manager at 11:00. Pick up a City of South Bend Volunteer Waiver outside the Pastoral Ministry office, have your parents sign it, then return it to the Pastoral Ministry. If you turned in a waiver for FUSION FEST to Deacon Andy, you do NOT have to complete another one. Just sign up here.
If you would take this opportunity you can help families in need. You get 4 hours 0f service. But its a good time and you get the joy of helping out families in need and some people will truly love that and it will make you feel like a great person. Join us for the 5th Annual Treats on the Trail, a free trick-or-treating event happening at Pinhook Park on Saturday, October 14th! Come out in your best Halloween costume and collect candy and other treats from local businesses and organizations.
