Are you into romanic books? If so, here is a book I recommend called, The Obsession. It is a love story that involves secrets and death.

The Obsession is written by Jesse Q. Sutanto. Logan and Delilah are the main characters in this book. This novel is told in first person between Logan and Delilah. Each chapter of the book is either Delilah’s POV or Logan’s POV. In this novel, both characters are in and attend the same high school. Before they both met each other, Logan was devastated because Sophie was long gone. Sophie was a girl that he loved before meeting Delilah. Although they weren’t dating, he claimed that she was “the love of his life.”

After Sophie’s passing, Logan figured he wouldn’t make it through the school year, that is until he met Delilah. Delilah and Logan didn’t know each other until they had a small interaction in the hallways by bumping in to each other. When he first laid eyes on her, he instantly fell in love only because her features were similar to Sophie. After their interaction, he started following her without her knowing. Logan even installed cameras near her house which gave him a good view of her room. Some might call him a stalker but he prefers to be called a romantic. 

On the other hand, Delilah also has secrets too, deadly ones. Her father passed away when she was young. As a result, Delilah only had her mother until she got a boyfriend, who is her stepdad. Little did she know that her stepdad was abusive and her mom would always be on his side. Due to the abuse from her stepdad, she hated him. Later on in the novel, the stepdad got into a tragic incident caused by Delilah. Because of the cameras installed by Logan, he saw the whole thing. He then decides talking to her, hanging out, and takes advantage of her. Delilah realizes he’s blackmailing her and using her so she plans to take revenge.
