Extracurriculars is a great way to get involved with the Saint Joe community. There are many options to choose from and, although it is not a requirement, participation in extracurriculars is highly recommended. They vary from Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) to art club! There are so many opportunities that you may not be aware of. Some of our well known clubs include Quiz Bowl, Helping Other People Endure (h.o.p.e.) club, SECO, and Language clubs. Also National Honors Society is nationally recognized – which involves high achieving students tutoring other students.
Some extracurriculars I participate in would be hockey and lacrosse for Saint Joe High. These are both club sports. Unfortunately, these activities take up much of my time so I am not involved in any other clubs, but I plan to change this in the future. Right after the lengthy hockey season, lacrosse follows immediately in the spring.
Extracurriculars are one of the best ways to get to know other students. Attendance is voluntary and the schedule is flexible. If you would like to take a look for yourself, you can go check out the page that list all the extracurriculars that are available to take part in on the Saint Joe High website at saintjoehigh.com Take a quick glance at the opportunities, maybe one may catch your eye and you could be interested in joining. Or you can listen to announcements on the Morning Show to stay updated on the next meeting.
