Grace Scicchitano is a senior this year at Saint Joe who is involved in many things. Grace, who has played basketball all 4 years of high school is also in peer ministry, NHS, right to life, student ambassadors in addition to playing for the Saint Joe girls tennis team.

With girls basketball season now in full swing, she has some hopes for the team. Grace said, “This season I hope for us to continue to dominate on the offensive side with our skills and speed to outwork each opponent.”

Grace strives on the court to lead others as one of the starting 5 on the court as well as do well in school. After high school she plans to major in Biology on a pre-dental track. Grace does not know where she will go to school just yet but she is more than excited to go out into the world and lead others as she does in school and on the court.

Although it may be Grace’s last year at Saint Joe, she has hopes to make it great for herself as well as for others. “I am looking forward to playing one more season with my best friends and creating many memories which I will cherish forever.”

A fun fact about Grace is that her favorite food is pizza and she loves to watch college football and basketball with her family.

One takeaway everyone can learn from Grace is to set high standards. Grace flourishes in school, at home, and on the basketball court all while having a smile on her face. Continue to spread joy and love everywhere you go and good things are bound to happen.
