AP Exams are the tests you take, or projects you submit, at the end of all of your AP Classes in order to get college credit depending on how well you do. However, to make sure that you are able to take full advantage of this opportunity, you should make sure that you are knowledgeable about how they work and when you need to be registered to take your Exams.
The deadline for registering on time to take your exams is within the next 2 weeks, November 15th to be specific. If you do not get registered by that deadline, you still have a chance to register until March 15th with a $40 late penalty. However, if you get registered on time, it is possible that all of your exams may be paid for by the school.
Many of the AP Classes offered at Saint Joe will be paid for by the state in order to encourage students to take them. Specifically all English, Science, and Math courses as well as Computer Science A and U.S. Government and Politics. Make sure to have those registered so you don’t end up paying for something you don’t need to.
As for when AP Exams are, they will be held in the first from May 6th to May 17th. They will likely take half, if not more of your day so make sure to plan accordingly and tell your teachers ahead of time. Make sure to study up and register for all of your AP Exams before the deadline so that you can use them to advance your future in college.
