Anna Hubert is a senior at Saint Joseph High School, and has quite the bio. She is very involved in sports and clubs, with a very involved faith life, along with many hobbies and job experience.
Hubert plays soccer and started playing when she was 10 on a club soccer team, and played three years of her high school career. She started by playing junior varsity freshmen year, took sophomore year off to focus on school, and played varsity junior and senior year. She volunteered at “Top Soccer” every year of middle school, which was to help kids and adults with disabilities learn and play soccer. Among that, Hubert did service at Camp Awareness, the South Bend Food Bank, Saint Pius X Vacation Bible School, and Our Lady of the Road Homeless Service on some weekends with family and friends.
Hubert has a very involved faith life, as she goes to mass every weekend with her family, and prays often. She loves her family more than anything, and considers her mom her best friend, with her dad and brothers being her #1 supporters. Hubert often puts others before herself, and especially her friends, as she states that she would “do anything for them.” A huge aspect of her life is who she interacts with, and how she wants to make someones day a little better wherever she can help at.
Some job opportunities that Hubert has had is Purely Pressed, where she worked for to years, and had a great experience with. And another job was Juday Creek Golf Course where she’s been working for 4 months now. She knows most of the golfers there by name, and makes it her first priority to make sure every one there feels important and welcomed.
Hobbies that Hubert has include soccer, hiking, skiing, traveling, coloring, listening to music, driving, and cooking. She is a very proactive person, and it is a big reason why she wants to study Kinesiology, the study of movement, at the University of Utah. This would give her a job that gets her to continue interacting with people, as it’s one of her strongest qualities, and she can follow what she’s interested in. If you see Anna in the hall, make sure to say hello!
