On Friday, October 27, HASA held a fall fest at Holy Family Catholic Church from 5 to 7 pm – showcasing a trunk or treat event.
This event was open for anyone! It was optional for children to wear their Halloween costumes but that didn’t mean adults weren’t allowed either. Tickets were required – they were $7 in advance and $9 at the door.
There were many activities for children to do! Before doing any other activity, people were asked to vote for the best pumpkin. After voting, people were allowed to do any of the activities such as designing and painting your own pumpkin!
While a few children wanted to paint their own pumpkins, others wanted to play games. There were four different mini games for children to play. If they won, they got a piece of candy. They also had face painting and even a wagon ride outside the school! Pizza was being served as well, along with drinks, candy, and chips but those costed money.
Overall, the fall fest went well and there were many smiles left from the children!
