Senior Grace Kidder, senior Lillie Ditty, junior Shea Anderson, and sophomore Mary Maher, will be taking the title of captain for the 2024 season. After a hard loss in the semi-state game in 2023, these four girls are excited to lead their team even further.

Kidder expresses her aspirations this way, “Coming off of a great season, I have high expectations for this team. We competed in the semi-state game giving me full confidence that this year we can achieve high goals. I love this team’s attitude, team chemistry, and hard work, they are all definitely displayed in their performances.”

Ditty echoes those sentiments as well, “ I am so excited for this senior season of mine. As someone who has played on this team for the past 4 years I feel the team has improved drastically and I cannot wait to see our progress out on the field. Considering how far we made it last season, I have high hopes for the ‘24 season.”

“We are super excited to have so many new players who have already put in so much work in preseason. This season, we are working on building off of last year’s momentum and this season will definitely be one to watch,” declares Junior captain Shea.

Finally, “I’m so excited for this season!” exclaims Mary, “we have great players, both returners and newcomers, who are putting in amazing work and who are committed to the game and each other. Last year we made it to semi-state, and a lot of that was due to the amazing community we have, and I’m really looking forward to carrying that momentum and mentality into the ‘24 season!”
