As we all know Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Along with Ash Wednesday, which lands on the same day this year. So here are some nice date ideas that are cute for the day of love, and honor the rules of Ash Wednesday.

First you can go out to eat to almost any place that has fish on the menu. For instance Royal Seafood House, Wild Crab, King Crab and others serve all sorts of variety of fish and seafood. Now if you’re not particularly a seafood person but you do have a sweet tooth then there are many more places to go.

One of the best places to go for sweets on Valentine’s Day is Crumbl. At Crumbl you can have your pick of 6 cookies, and the great thing about Crumbl is that they have different cookies every week. The only cookie that is consistent is one of the six cookies is a chocolate chip cookie, and even that one is a cookie like you’ve never tasted before. Now a great place to go to for ice cream is La Rosita on Western. La Rosita sells a combination of ice cream, yogurts where you can add your choice of flavor and fruits to put in it, chips (either by themselves or with your choice of add-ons), and many other sweet or spicy treats. Last but not least, a great place for frozen yogurt is Sweet Frog. Sweet Frog sells a variety of frozen yogurt flavors and plenty of add-ons. Even the add-ons could be a sweet treat themselves, they include sprinkles, chocolate, candy and many more.
