Angelina Tirotta has been a member of the cheer team at Saint Joe for the past four years. Tirotta was on Junior Varsity for her first two years and was even the captain of junior varsity her sophomore year. For the next two years she was on varsity. She has been doing cheer for the past nine years and was a member of Saint Pius’ cheer team when she was still in grade school.

Tirotta says that most of her memories are from cheerleading as she has been doing it since she was in third grade. Many times after cheerleading at the games Angelina and Isabella Tirotta her sister go and support their brother Anthony Tirotta at hockey and she says it is her favorite part about cheerleading and it is a great feeling wearing the uniform there and showing the support.

Tirotta said that her favorite memory from all her years of cheerleading has to be when she got the chance to go cheer with the Notre Dame cheerleading team which is something she will never forget as she is a die hard Notre Dame fan. Overall, Tirotta does love to stunt and it is her favorite thing to do. She says that it brings everyone together and it really shows the strength and support that the cheer teams need to succeed.

She would like to thank her parents for helping her cheer all these years and driving her to the games and always coming to support her and her family for always helping out and being there for her. She would also like to thank her  coaches and her fellow teammates for having an amazing four years at Saint Joe with all of them.
