The Tesla Cybertruck will finally be released to the public in November of 2024, after a long wait dating back to 2019! The Tesla Cybertruck starts at 61,240 dollars, so needless to say, they are not cheap. “Tesla claims the Cybertruck can tow up to 11,000 pounds and has an estimated driving range of up to 340 miles. Hooked up to a Tesla Supercharger, the EV truck can supposedly add between 128 and 136 miles of range in 15 minutes.”
The Tesla Cybertruck has gained a lot of fame over the years, especially in the last couple months where a video of the cybertruck beating a Porsche 911 in a drag race while towing a Porsche 911. The truck it’s self is also bulletproof, as well as the windshield. And also is the first car with a powered front trunk.
The Tesla Cybertruck was very popular for the first two months that we saw the new vehicle, however now that we see how weather and how high maintenance the vehicle is, Tesla is getting a lot of backlash for the quality of the truck. For starters, the Tesla Cybertruck has been known to rust when it rains due to it’s stainless steel exterior, and has been said that it needs to be washed every single day to make sure that the car does not rust, and sustain crucial dents and damage on the exterior. Tesla has also asked that everyone who has a cybertruck early to take off the tire caps which they said would make the truck more arrow dynamic. Removing these covers and replacing them with new ones will not only be pricey for the current owners but will also decrease the trucks electric range by 5-10%.
The Tesla Cybertruck has a lot of work to do before it get’s released to the public this November, but the Cybertruck is the next step for innovation in electrical cars, and cars in general for years to come.
