Lainey Eder, is a three sport athlete for her senior year. Those sports include track, soccer, and diving. Lainey was the diving team’s captain, 4 year member of the soccer program, and this is her second season for track and specializes in hurdles.

Through her 4 years, her favorite high school sport was “either track or soccer because of the people involved in those sports.” Lainey states, “Soccer has brought me some of my best friends and I was able to advance my soccer abilities alongside some of my longterm best friends as well as my new friends I met through Saint Joe girls soccer. But, on the other hand, track is fun with the hanging out with everyone between running events and supporting each other as well as cheering people on in their events. Track allows me to not only hangout with my average group of friends, but also groups of people I wouldn’t get to hangout with otherwise.”

Lainey is not only a three sport athlete, but she also holds a position in the spring musical of 2024. Lainey describes the musical as “so fun, I am so happy I decided to do it for my senior year because I love meeting a different group of people along with singing and dancing.”

Any of Lainey’s friends can agree with the statement that she loves to sing and dance any chance she gets! Alongside being an athlete, Lainey is a student. She is a phenomenal student in and out of the classroom and prioritizes her academics constantly.
