Ainsley Hennel is a senior at Saint Joe who has an interest in art, service, medicine, and dance. Out side of school, she is a babysitter, regularly volunteers at the All for Animals Shelter, and uses her time to teach younger kids how to dance. She has danced for 14 years and participates in many productions for dance, such as hers last winter, the Nutcracker.
During her time at the school, Ainsley has studied under our athletic trainer here at Saint Joe and has become one herself to, to take care of, assist, and prepare athletes for and during their games. Ainsley is the creator and president of our Unapologetically Beverly Club in honor of a student that passed away earlier in the year. Her interest in art has lead her to take AP Art where she is challenged and taught many more tips and advanced techniques to enhance her artwork. She earned a silver key this year in scholastics for a gouache painting titled “Réflexion.” She loves hanging out with her friends, family, and cat, as well as listening to music, going outside, and working out.
After school, Ainsley plans to go to Indiana University to study exercise science in the public health building. She is excited to meet new people and develop new skills as she goes to college. Her advice to others is, “Even when things get really hard and it seems as if there is no hope, keep going because it will be worth it for your end result.”
