The 2024 track season is kicking off, one particular runner to look out for this year is Brennan Moser. She runs both the 100 and 300-meter hurdles but particularly excels in the 100-meter hurdles. Over the past four years, Moser has improved her step pattern, progressively moving from five to four and working to get down to a three-step pattern her senior year. Saint Joe track has taught her commitment to both herself and the team – especially since track is a team sport and everyone contributes to the win.
Regarding her position as a senior Moser looks forward to being a leader to incoming runners attempting these events. Working one’s best to perform to the best of their ability, and hoping to reach higher for the season. Some of these goals include attempting to break the school record or hitting a new personal record for their event. Overall Moser hopes to have fun her senior year season and strive to continue to strengthen and form bonds with the team. Continuously keeping the energy high and not off days affects the rest of the season. Lastly, Moser encourages everyone to give running track a try and hopefully, they will fall in love with it the way she did.
