Spring break is finally here! With a whole week off, people tend to seize the opportunity to travel to a warm beach and bask in the sun. But if you are tired of going to the same spot every year and want to shake it up, it may be a little difficult to find a new spot with high reviews. Luckily, I’ve put together a list of the top rated vacation spots in North America. Each place has at least six hundred reviews on Expedia and the top destinations range from 4.02-4.55 stars.
Topping off the list at number one is the beautiful city of Wailea, Hawaii. It’s known for its five huge crescent shaped beaches and some stellar golf courses. There are five luxurious resorts nearby that offer your own private home and many built in activities. Some of the most popular range from snorkeling lessons to a coastal lava field. The only downside would be the average cost of $5,000 dollars. However, considering the included features, it is one hundred percent worth it.
Coming in at a close second is Cambria, California. With some similarities to Wailea, there are many beaches for a fun day in the sun. Cambria is known for its scenic Moonwalk Beach Boardwalk. Take a stroll down this boardwalk to spot all sorts of sea life. Nearby there is also a public attraction that lets you take horseback rides through the mountains.
If you are one that enjoys the great outdoors and exploring then all of the beach locations may not be your first choice. Instead, I would consider number three, Springdale, Utah. Take your chance to explore Zion National Park which takes you through the hilly landscape of the beautiful state of Utah. Here, you will also have the chance to learn the history of the gorgeous hues of the sandstone cliffs. It is also home to a very friendly community and a sweet village-like charm.
