The new Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire film was released March 29, 2024. This film received mixed reactions from viewers and critics, but overall positive things were said about it.

This latest entry in the Monsterverse franchise follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting Kong and Godzilla against an undiscovered threat hidden within the world, challenging their very existence. The epic new film delves further into the histories of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond.

This particular film features: Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, and Kaylee Hottle.

Some say that the movie was horrible and others say that it was great with a “healthy dose of monster fights and on screen action scenes,” to quote. Majority of the audience thinks that it was a “fun movie but not very deep.”

I personally think that the film was an exaggerated movie to add onto the whole story, and rather farfetched. The biggest difference from this film compared to the other movies in the franchise is that this time Godzilla and Kong team up instead of going against each other, but otherwise they still all have same things like they’re from different realms. Overall it was a good movie, just more of a “filler” movie than something original.
