There are many service opportunities this year for you to complete your service hours.  One place you can volunteer at is Healthwin. Here you can play games, talk to people at the nursing home, and make crafts. Healthwin includes, resident transportation, gardening and grounds maintenance, and one to one interaction with residents. This is a great way to help your community and get your service hours. There is also another good nursing home to volunteer at, which is the Cardinal Nursing Home.

Another great service opportunity is All 4 Animals Rescue. Here you feed the animals, and clean their cages or clean around the place. You could build maintenance, help at their adoption events, and transportation to veterinary appointments. This is a great and easy way to help your community.

Cultivate Food Rescue, here you help package meals, help make food, and wash the dishes. In a typical shift of two hours here you pack betweeen 500-1500 meals. They use and assembly line, which helps the process be much quicker. They are also looking for people who could come in weekly to help out.

Downtown Soup Kitchen, is also a great way to do service. Here you help prepare and pack up meals.  Volunteers are welcome  from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM on days when the kitchen is open. The doors are open to guests at 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The kitchen is open for volunteers Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
