Girls volleyball has had a busy summer, with non stop practice, conditioning, and open gyms. This has done a great job at getting the girls getting prepared for the season.
The Huskies started off their season with a scrimmage against LaVille on August 15th. They played 3 sets and won them all!
The girls first game was on August 20th against Concord where they unfortunately fell 28-26, 22-25, 16-14.
Then the girls were on the road at Plymouth on August 22nd, where they won an intense 5 set game.
Genevieve Amico explains, “I am really confident and excited for the season. The workouts and conditioning we have done over the summer have really helped me and the team stay in shape and ready for the season. I can’t wait to see how our team all plays together because we have a really strong team. My goal for the season is to win our conference. I am confident we will have a great and strong season!”
Admissions for the games at home are free for students, and $7 for guests.
The girls next game is home against Northridge on Tuesday, August 27 at 7:00 PM, then on the road at Penn on Thursday August 29 at 7:30 PM. Come out and support the girls!
