Bored? Well these games will surely prevent that.
With summer ending, and the school year starting, one way to cope with stress is games! Well lucky for you, there are a bunch of big game titles coming out of this school that are going to be hugely popular and likely massively fun.
First on the list, we have Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2. This is a successor to the widely renowned third person shooter title, Warhammer 40K Space Marine from 2011. It is going to follow the protagonist, Captain Titus of the Ultramarines, 200 years after the events of the first game. Just like the predecessor, it is full of brutal, visceral action that will keep you playing. It is going to come out on September 9, and is currently the most wish-listed game on Steam.
The second big game coming out this year is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This first person shooter installment to the Black Ops Series is going to have some typical content and new stuff, namely a fan favorite Zombies mode and a single player campaign set post-Cold War. It is also set to have many multiplayer PvP maps and modes, and all-around excellent gunplay. It is coming out on the 25 of October, with an open Beta testing for players who preordered.
Finally, one extremely awaited game is Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, which will be the newest version of the greatest strategy game to ever exist. The gameplay will be very similar to the other, earlier, versions, but the experience and graphics will be much more stunning. The player will be able to create a culture, fight with other civilizations for supremacy and lead them out of the stone age, and through every era of human civilization, to the modern world and beyond. Just like all other installments, it also will offer a multiplayer experience. It is being released on February 11, 2025, and is currently the sixth most wish-listed game on Steam.
