The hockey team is feeling more excited and confident than ever about this upcoming season. With a strong mix of skill, chemistry, and determination, they believe they can win both the city and state championships.
Senior Owen Balint says, “We’ve got everything we need. Our skill is at a high level, and the chemistry we’ve built over the last few seasons is incredible. We’re not just hoping to win—we’re aiming to make a statement. City and state titles? That’s the goal.”
Senior Andrew Yergler, adds, “It’s not just confidence, it’s trust. We know each other’s game inside and out. We’ve put in the work, and now it’s time to show it. Winning the city and making a run at the state title? We can definitely do that.”
The team’s strong bond is one of its biggest strengths. They’ve spent a lot of time together, both on and off the ice, and it shows in their play. “It’s more than just strategy,” Balint explains. “We’re a family out there, and that chemistry will carry us through the tough moments.”
Senior Evan Peters also feels the team’s unity. “We’ve grown a lot, not just in skill but in how we work together,” he says. “We trust each other completely. When you trust your teammates, it makes a big difference. We’re all in this together, and that’s what’s going to push us to succeed.”
Junior Colton Edman adds, “I’ve learned a lot from the seniors, especially guys like Owen and Andrew. They’ve shown me how important it is to play as a team. We’ve got the talent, and we’re all on the same page. I’m really excited for what’s ahead.”
With strong leadership from Balint, Yergler, and Peters, along with the energy from players like Edman, the team feels ready to take on any challenge. They’ve put in the work, and now they’re determined to see it pay off.
Yergler sums it up: “We’re ready. We’ve prepared, and now it’s time to go out and make it happen.”
This season isn’t just about competing—it’s about winning. With their talent, drive, and unity, the team believes they can capture both the city and state championships. They’re more than ready to make their mark.
