On Thursday, October 3rd St. Joseph’s Right to Life group is organizing its annual Diaper Drive, an event that brings the community together to provide much-needed resources for families in need. Diapers are one of the most essential, yet costly, items for new parents, and through this drive, the church aims to lighten the burden for local families while advocating for the dignity of life at every stage.
Annually Saint Joe students hold a dress down day for the Diaper Drive to benefit the Women’s Care Center, instead of bringing a dollar students donate a pack of diapers. Then, students create a human chain from the Black Box Theater all the way out to the Women’s Care Center down the street. All students participate by passing the baby diapers hand over hand to the person next to them. The event is a spectacular spectacle of teamwork and collaboration to achieve a common goal.
Bring an unopened box of diapers to the Aux gym between 7:15 and 10 am, and receive a pass to dress down Thursday. Sizes 3 and up requested. One hour of Christian service will be awarded to students who are present and participate.
As the need for assistance grows, St. Joseph’s is calling on the broader community to come together in support of this important cause, demonstrating that every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a big difference in the lives of families.
