Halloween is a great time to watch fun and scary movies. Some people enjoy watching scary movies, and some like more fun Halloween movies. Here are some movies for you to enjoy this Halloween season. 

One great movie is Hocus Pocus. This movie takes place in Salem, Massachusetts. There are three witches, and their bodies are placed under a curse. A young boy, Max Dennison, explores an abandoned house. He accidentally frees a coven of evil witches. Then he eventually ends up being turned into an immortal cat. This is a great Halloween movie to watch with your family, as it is a great for young and old alike. 

A scarier movie to watch is Halloween. During this movie a six year old boy murders his older sister. He was then sentenced for fifteen years, one day when he was being transferred for another court date. He decided to steal a car, and escape. He then returns to his quieter hometown, and looks for his next victims. This is definitely a scarier movie, so be aware of that if you plan to watch this.  

Another great movie to watch during Halloween season is the Nightmare Before Christmas. This movie follows Jack Skellington’s adventures. He has become bored of his life, where he scares people in the “normal world.”  He eventually accidentally ends up in Christmas town, where he gets a fresh start on life. Christmas town has very bright colors, and warm spirits. Which is different from what he is used to. He then plans to bring Christmas under his control. He wants to kidnap Santa, and take over his position. This movie is a classic for the Halloween season and suitable for almost any age. 

Beetlejuice is also a great Halloween movie. This movie follows a deceased couple, who haunt their old home. They say that there is a ghost named Beetlejuice In this house, to scare away the new homeowners. This then attracts the actual spirit, and the movie continues as Beetlejuice becomes more and more dangerous.
