It’s fall y’all! And around South Bend coffee shops are reforming their menus to fit the theme. Here’s a look at 3 popular shops and their new limited editions.
First, Panera Bread. They only have 1 new fall drink, the Cinnamon Crunch Latte. This includes freshly brewed espresso, foamed milk, cinnamon flavor syrup, whipped cream, and cinnamon sugar topping. Aside from this drink however, Panera has many limited time additions such as the Cranberry Orange Slice, Kickin’ Grilled Cheese, Steak and Wake, Sausage CinnaScramble Sandwich, and CinnaScramble.
Sophomore Danica Prokop says that “The Cinnamon Crunch Latte is perfect; it is a great compliment to the Cinnamon Crunch Bagel, and I love it.”
Next, let’s take a look at Biggby Coffee. They have the signature fall Pumpkin Spice Latte, as well as other drinks including the Chumpkin Latte, Sweet Foam Pumpkin Cold Brew, Jack-O-Lantern Latte, Caramel Apple Cider, and Chaider. In addition, they have some food items on the menu like the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Maple Waffle Sandwich that has the option of Sausage instead; or the Pumpkin Muffin.
The final spot that we’ll look at is Starbucks. Of course, they also have their popular PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte). Additionally, they have added the Pecan Crunch Oat Milk Latte (with an iced option), a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, a Chai Latte, the New Iced Apple Crisp Non Dairy Cream Chai, the Apple Crisp Oat Milk Macchiato, and the similar Apple Crisp Oat Milk Shaken Espresso. For their food menu, Starbucks has a Baked Apple Croissant and a Mummy Cookie.
A review from Danica Prokop says, “The Pumpkin Spice Chai from Starbucks is one of my favorite drinks. I normally get a chai tea but during fall I love the Pumpkin Spice because it adds just a little bit more flavor and its like you can taste fall through a cold drink.”
Hopefully you can find time in your schedule to visit some of these coffee shops and explore these new fall favorites.
