Halloween is coming up, and often when we think of Halloween we think of pumpkins. There are many different, and fun ways to use a pumpkin this season. Here are some ways to make the most of your pumpkins this Halloween season.

One fun and classic way is pumpkin carving. People often do this during the season. There are ways to make carving pumpkins more fun. You can carve a simple face, and add glitter, or paint after. There are also many kits, and tools you can buy to help you improve your pumpkin carving. You could also always just paint your pumpkin, if carving isn’t your thing. 

There are many recipes to make using pumpkins. Pumpkins don’t just have to be for decorating, they can be used for food. You can make foods like pumpkin pies, pumpkin soups, and pumpkin bread. These are all delicious, and fun ways to use a pumpkin. Another fun thing to do is roast the seeds inside the pumpkin. This is a good way to not waste anything in the pumpkin. You get all the seeds out of the pumpkin, put them in the oven, then season them when they are done. You can season them with cinnamon, sugar, ginger, or chili powder. These make a great and healthy snack. 

If you’re not into making food, or carving pumpkins, you can use a pumpkin to make fun crafts. One craft you can do is cut the top of the pumpkin, and get all the stuff out of the pumpkin. Then you can buy fall flowers and use the pumpkin as a vase. This is a great decoration for Fall. You can also make a pumpkin chain. You need to get smaller, and light weight pumpkins to do this. You are going to get a sturdy wire to link these pumpkins together.  You can also then paint, or design these pumpkins any way you would like. This could be a fun craft, and nice decoration.
