Cleaster Kimbrough III (Cle) is a member of the football team. Kimbrough plays offense and defense on the varsity football team and he has been playing football for 8 years. He was inspired to play by his older cousin who also played football. Kimbrough says, “what pushed me to play football was the idea of buying my mom a house.” Kimbrough has multiple offers to play football but he is hoping to play football at Michigan State University. Kimbrough had an outstanding game recently against Riley where he scored two touchdowns.
Apart from playing football, Kimbrough is also a member of the track and field team since his freshman year. He does pole vault, and runs the 200 meter and 4×1. His best track record is hitting 11 ‘6 in the pole vault and going to state twice for the 4×1 his freshman year. He looks forward to running track and field for his final year at Saint Joe.
Kimbrough is a wonderful part of this community. He is a great student and an even better friend. He never fails to put a smile on the faces of anyone he meets. His advice to the current and future students is “Take advantage of high school sports, it will help with life aside from athletics.”
