Last Sunday on November 3rd, Saint Joe High hosted an open house for future students to explore and learn more about our school! It was led by Student Government and National Honor Society.
The open house began at 1:00pm where the freshman representatives welcomed the families into the school. Then the sophomores and upperclassmen gave tours to the families as apart of their duty as Student Government and NHS members. They had folders of information for the parents and a Husky Stanley as a gift! The tours included: showing the families the classrooms their kids were interested in, introducing them to teachers, going to see the different programs offered and trying food in the cafeteria.
The tour guides also were open to any questions that the families had. The open house is a great way for families who have never gone to Saint Joe High to really see how it functions!
To finalize the tour, the families were brought down to the gym to explore the variety of extracurriculars offered here at Saint Joe. There were sports and clubs displayed with the members to answer questions about their sport/club. Our very own mascot, the Husky, was there for the families to meet!
