Have you been looking for a different alternative since the TikTok ban? Well, there is a new app that is very similar to TikTok and it’s called Rednote. Rednote works very similarly to TikTok there is a home page that it takes you to when you first open the app. It’s like Instagram with pictures and comments. There is then a button next to it and that is where the videos are.

The videos are very similar to your TikTok fyp. Same humor, the same comments, and the same ideas. Then there are the messages. You can message the friends you have through this. You can also call these friends. Then the next button is your profile. You can make your profile just like your TikTok profile. You’re probably wondering how to make videos.

Much like TikTok there is a plus button that you click and you can make videos. You can also post pictures on Instagram using this button. Also, you can go live on Rednote without having any followers. So unlike TikTok where you have to have a certain amount of followers, you can just go live on Rednote. 

Now you might be concerned about the app being in Mandarin, but that’s not an issue. Since there is a way you can change the language it will translate everything from Mandarin to English.
