Brady Langager is the definition of a student athlete, known for his work ethic on and off the field. Langager also pushes himself and those around him to work hard. In athletics, he is known for being a leader and the hardest worker in the weight room. In the classroom, teachers say he is always an active and willing participant. When asked about his work ethic he said, “I want to inspire those around me to reach their full potential.”
Langager has been a four year member of the football team and a three year starter. Throughout his four years, he has played running back, slot receiver, and defensive back. Langager was recognized this year during the Holy War being named Sports Michiana Student Athlete of the Week. He was also recognized at the end of the year being named to Academic All NIC and Academic All-State teams.
Langager has also been a four year member of the baseball team and a three year starter. He has been an infielder throughout all four years. Last year he put up some impressive stats recording a .382 batting average, 26 hits with 8 of those being doubles, and 18 RBIs. He was recognized for his efforts being named all conference honorable mention. Baseball season is just around the corner and he is looking to have another productive season.
Along with athletics, Langager is involved in other extracurriculars. He is a member of SADD club, student ambassadors, and peer mentors. Academically he is involved with NHS and has maintained over a 4.0 GPA throughout high school.
After high school, Langager plans on attending the University of Notre Dame to study business. He wants to study business so he “can continue to be in a leadership position” throughout his career.
