With TikTok returning after the 14-hour ban, many questions have been asked about who could buy TikTok. One potential owner is Elon Musk. He is the owner of Tesla and X. Trump said that he would feel comfortable with Musk becoming the new owner of TikTok. 

Another potential owner of TikTok is Jimmy Donaldson aka Mr.Beast. He is the owner of Lunchly. He posted on X saying he would buy TikTok if it came down to it. He said he would make an all-cash offer to become the new TikTok CEO.

Canadian Kevin O’Leary from the show Shark Tank also said that he would pay in cash for TikTok. He also stated that Mr.Beast was his biggest competitor.

Larry Ellison, the Chief Technology Officer at the White House, has the approval of President Trump to buy TikTok and become the new owner. Back in 2020, Ellison made a bid to buy TikTok.

Steven Mnuchin is another potential owner of TikTok. He was the former US Secretary of the Treasury and served during Trump’s first term. He helped assemble an investor group to buy TikTok when the TikTok ban bill was going through the House of Representatives. 

Overall TikTok could get a new owner and TikTok should be back in the US for the time being until they get a new owner.
