Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors at Saint Joseph High School are required to complete 20 hours of Christian Service each school year. Each quarter, 5 total hours need to be completed and logged in MobileServe by the due date. Hopefully, you’ve already turned in your Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 hours. Quarter 3 is due on March 1st. For some students, the SBL reflection is also due on March 1st. Remember, SBL is a graduation requirement and must be completed. If not, you’ll need to complete it the following year.

Here are some ideas for service hours: working at Catholic schools with aftercare, helping with sporting events, or assisting at the food bank or Christ Child Society. These are just a few ideas, but try to find an organization or activity that you connect with and build a relationship. If you need help finding an organization, go to MobileServe and check out the available opportunities. You’ll be able to see invitations and find an event you would enjoy doing your service hours at.

When you log your hours in MobileServe, click on the calendar and choose the date you did the service. Enter the number of hours you served on that date and select “Christian Service” as the category. Then, explain in detail what you did during the service. Be sure to meet the word requirement and review the details before submitting to ensure your information is accurate and you haven’t missed any questions.
