This Friday, we will be having a dress down day for the Riley’s Children Hospital. Our Donations will be a large help to so many things at the Riley Hospital.
Right now, all donations will help with pediatric research, educational opportunities for physicians and medical students of IU, advanced and family friendly facilities, life-sustaining technology for children, fun adventured for children with disabilities at Camp Riley, social work, and emergency financial support for families.
You can donate to Riley out side of school at https://www.rileychildrens.org/about/ways-to-give.
Riley also partners with some amazing projects one being Project ADAM (automated defibrillators in Adam’s memory). This national organization has a main goal of saving lives through advocacy, education, preparedness and collaboration to prevent sudden cardiac arrest. Project ADAM will provide training and education to Indiana schools and communities so they can be prepared and equipped in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. This training and education includes CPR/AED training, Written Cardiac Emergency Response Plan reviewed annually, Cardiac Emergency Response Plan and AED practice drills annually, and AEDs throughout the school campus that are accessible and maintained.
Riley is dedicated to bringing health services to everyone in Indiana, and through our donations, we are able to be a small part of this. When we donate to Riley we are helping not just people who desperately need it but we are helping everyone in all communities all across Indiana. Please consider partaking in the dress down day this Friday and bring at least $1 if you do so.
