As March approaches, Discover Saint Joe Day does as well. This day is where seventh graders from our partner schools come to Saint Joe for the day and experience what it’s like to be a student here.
This day will happen on Friday March 21st and anyone is welcome to volunteer! It is a great opportunity to earn service hours and help us show how great Saint Joe is to these seventh graders who are starting to consider where they want to go to highschool.
As one of the members of the Board of Directors that help organize this day, I encourage people to participate. I have done Discover Saint Joe Day every year and it is always fun to spend the day connecting with younger students and showing my appreciation for Saint Joe.
Students that volunteer will lead homeroom classes and take their group of seventh graders around to different classes as well as lunch. The day ends with a pep rally to showcase our school spirit and talented drumline. Overall, it is a fun day and great opportunity for service and fostering connections to possible future Saint Joe students.
However, many students are still needed to make this day possible so contact Ms. Ushela at [email protected].
