Leo and Patrick Mcgreevy
Identical twins: Not only do they look alike, share a birthday and live with each other, but they also need to sit in class together, too.
Leo and Patrick McGreevy are seniors and have been attending school together since kindergarten. This year, they both have Mr. Dyer’s sixth period AP Government class. When asked about the pros of being in the same class together, the twins gave some interesting answers.
“Whenever I feel really stupid, I always know there’s one person who’s doing worse than me,” said Leo.
“And we can also carpool really easily together,” said Patrick.
The twins have also expressed the cons of being in government together.
“If Patrick messes up, I look worse by comparison,” said Leo.
In addition to having government together, the twins have also been in Mr. Whitten’s AP Human Geography class. Unfortunately, there is a possibility that this streak of being in class together will soon end.
As the end of senior year approaches and college decisions are starting to be made, there is a chance that the twins will not–for the first time in their lives–be attending the same school together. However, Leo and Patrick have maintained a positive attitude about the possible outcome.
“We’re not positive on colleges yet, but we are probably not going to the same school….but I think we’ll be okay!” said Leo.
Pros and cons aside, the twins agree that being in the same class as their sibling was a fun experience…except for maybe one part, according to Patrick.
“I always know there’s one person trying to copy off my homework.”
