Deb Brown, after being at Saint Joe for five years, is retiring. The new Athletic Director Stephen Anthony will be joining us on July 1st. 

Anthony has been an Associate Athletics Director for Sport Administration at Michigan State University for the past four years. While he was there, he directed seven different sports. He also represented MSU on the Sport Management Committee and was an active member of the Big Ten Conference. 

Anthony also had the distinguished honor of serving the Women’s Soccer Selection Committee, in addition to serving on other various committees throughout his career in the NCAA. Prior to coming to Michigan State, Anthony spent over two decades at Valparaiso University in Indiana where he was both a head coach and Assistant Athletic Director. He was  named Coach of the Year three times during his tenure at Valparaiso for the Mid Continent Conference. He’s also married and have one son who attends college in Michigan 

After his visit here at Saint Joseph High School, Wednesday morning he said, “I was impressed with the coaches, staff, and administration’s shared commitment to community, service to the students, and the mission to transform students through a faith-based education,”
