Not only was there a football game happening Friday, September 17th, but a Homecoming Hospitality Tent that proved to be a huge success.

Located on the Upper Concourse, just behind the Press Box, the tent  was sponsored by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi.  Serving burgers from CJ’s Pub and cupcakes from Gigi’s Cupcakes, the tent offered food as well as beverages.  From 6:30pm-7:30pm a CJ’s Pub Cookout Meal was sold.  For only $5 guests received: freshly grilled CJ’s Burger, chips, soda, and a mini Gigi’s Cupcake.  Yes, you heard that right; only $5 for all that food.

All of this food was donated and the amazing person who helped with the donation was Saint Joe High Parent, Katie Bona.  There was even entertainment with a Dj playing music.  The Saint Joe Varsity and JV cheerleaders performed some cheers and dances for the guests.

The advancement office organized this great event for families and friends to enjoy while watching the football game.  Tables were set up where Saint Joe friends and family could receive more information about the 2022 Gala and Fund For Saint Joseph and of course spiritwear was sold.

Co-ordinator Courtney Mattison said, “This was the first time the Advancement Team had done this type of event.  It was a huge success, with the cookout meals selling out in under and hour – as well as money raised for the Fund for Saint Joseph.  We look forward to doing it again next year.”

All signs indicate that it was a huge success and is likely to return in the future.
