Coffee is what helps fuel and brightens most of our mornings, but where is the best place to get it? Try two new local businesses, Zen Cafe and Sway Coffee.

Zen Café is located in South Bend in Hoban Building at 530 E. LaSalle St. Zen is open through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 to 4. The atmosphere and interior of the café is absolutely unmatched. A setting that allows customers to relax and enjoy their purchase with ease, in addition optimal lounging and seating. Some days, there is even art available for purchasing and viewing! The menu consists of all your favorite coffee items in addition to special coffee such as lavender and elderberry coffee. I went to Zen this past Thursday, and had one of the best chai lattes I have ever tasted. Overall this café is a great place to enjoy some leisurely time and a delicious beverage.

Next up is Sway Coffee. Sway was developed over this past summer, where it instantly attracted our South Bend locals. Sway is open everyday of the week from 8 am to 3 pm. With a pristine and modern inside, Sway is the place to be. The food and beverages are absolutely delicious and the café has 4 and half stars off of Google reviews. From sourdough waffles to wraps, Sway has got it all. I recommend this café to any and everyone in the area, as it has everything you could desire!
