Very few stories are as legendary as the space opera known as Star Wars. At the start of the 2000s, the Prequel series set the franchise in a new direction with mixed reviews. After the 2008 Clone Wars TV show aired, the creator George Lucas stopped creating Star Wars content and sold the franchise to Disney for over 4 billion dollars. This led to the Sequel series that started with enthusiasm but then endured  negative reviews.  The launch of the Mandalorian on Disney +  became a major critical success reviving fan support.

Disney has announced a new Mandalorian spinoff series following an old character from 1980 in the continuation of his story in the Book of Boba Fett. The new narrative picks up on season two of Mandalorian as Boba Fett took over his former boss’s criminal empire. According to reports and interviews, the main plot is a Godfather-style story displaying a darker, more criminal side of the Star Wars universe

The public and fan reaction to the trailer was largely positive creating strong anticipation for the show and the return of Temuera Morrison by both causal and diehard fans. The future looks better for Star Wars on Disney + than on the silver screen.
