The Saint Joseph Boys Soccer team ended their regular season with a loss against the Marian Knights on Wednesday, September 28th. They finished the season off with a record of seven wins, eight losses, and two ties (7-8-2). The boys are heading into sectionals Wednesday, October 5th against Bremen. They are looking forward to beating the Bremen Lions to rematch the Marian Knights for the Sectional Finals. They are scheduled to play Bremen at Marian Highschool @ 7:30 pm on Wednesday. The Indians go on to defeat the Lions, 4-1, for their first game of sectionals. Thomas Raster finished the game with a hat trick (3 goals) and Trey Place added one for the Saint Joe. Saint Joe advances to play Marian on Saturday, October 8th @ 7:00 pm at Marian Highschool.

Leading the Indians, Trey Place is guiding the team with 15 goals this season and Sam Harshman is pathing the way with 14 assists this season. Andy Yergler stands in the goal for the Indians and has the most shutouts this year with 4 shutouts and 34 saves. Sadly, Gabe Nanni was reported to not be playing due to an injury against John Glenn on September 22nd. With hope of Saint Joseph moving on to the next round, Nanni will be resting and healing to play in the next game. With the devastating loss of Nanni, the Indians are hoping to rally for a win.
