Last week was Saint Joe’s Spirit Week where all of the students were able to dress down each day with a specific theme! This was to celebrate the homecoming game on Friday where the school’s homecoming king and queen were voted on.
Monday’s theme was PJ day. Students came to school comfortable and relaxed in their pajamas, which was a funny connection to when students could be in their pajamas during zoom classes a couple years ago.
Tuesday’s theme was Spirit Wear or Proposed Mascot Day. Students were able to show their school spirit by either wearing Saint Joe spirit wear or suggesting a new mascot for our new change. Unfortunately, there was a lot of ice and snow Monday night, so all of the students had an E-Learning Day, and were unable to have this dress down day.

Teachers would either wear a uniform or dress like a high school kid to fit in theme. It was very funny to see students and teachers in unusual clothes, and to act like each other at school.
Friday’s theme was a class competition Water Bottle Day. This was where each class of students had a different type of water bottle to represent. Seniors were Hydroflasks, which were under the sea themed, Juniors were Stanleys, which were construction themed, Sophomores were Gatorade bottles, which were athletics and sports themed, and Freshmen were Yetis, which were Tundra
