Brashaun Woods is a senior at Saint Joseph High school. He is a member of the Basketball team as well as NHS. He takes part in many other extra circular activities like SADD club too. Woods takes pride in his work and works hard in everything he does. Woods has been a leader for all four years of his high school career. A quote that best describes him is “I work hard in everything I do and push others past their limits”.

Woods has been a Varsity basketball player for all four years of his tenure in high school. His role on the Saint Joseph team has been crucial. This success has been shown through two good playoff runs and another run going all the way to state. Woods plays forward, which commands the paint on offense and is a power house in the paint on defense. One of his teammates described his basketball skills as “Brashaun is always hustling on every play and he is a piece of the team that makes the Saint Joe Huskies whole.”

His academic career has been no short of incredible as well. Woods is a straight A student who has taken many AP courses through his years in high school. Woods aims to continue his academic career in a prestigious college. He is also considering playing basketball in college. With his mind and athleticism, he can go anywhere he wants.

An academic weapon and a slashing athlete, he aims high on and off the court in every step he takes. A classmate says of him, “Brashaun strives for his best self and helps me whenever I need it.”
