Whether you have played pickleball or have never even touched a paddle, the pickleball club is a great place for you!
A brand new club is now open at Saint Joe, the Pickleball Club! It is led by the math teacher, Mrs. Kovacs along with seniors Chloe Alumbaugh, Lillian Banks, Lisa Marie and junior Brody Hill.
The Pickleball Club is a newly founded club dedicated to playing pickleball and having a good time with your peers. It is a great way to exercise and to enjoy yourself at the same time! They meet around twice a month, usually on Tuesdays at 4:30 to 5:30 and on Sundays as well. The locations alternate between the Central Park Courts and H2 Pickleball Courts, and the leaders will let the team know the location via email. The items needed for the meetings are:
- Exercise clothes
- Tennis shoes
- Water bottle
- Your own pickleball paddle (extra paddles are appreciated)
The club members will also have paddles for people to borrow.
Along with casual play-the club plans on having themed meetings where members dress according to the theme, if they choose! Participation in dressing for theme is optional. This club is not competitive and is open to everyone. You can recruit your friends and play games against each other! The games can be singles or doubles with a partner.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or a complete beginner, the Pickleball Club is a fantastic way to unwind and connect with classmates. Join in on the fun and get ready to serve up some good times!
