On Wednesday, November 13th, our school community gathered to celebrate seven remarkable student-athletes who have signed their National Letter of Intent (NLI) to continue both their academic and athletic journeys at the collegiate level. This group of talented individuals has shown incredible commitment, and we could not be prouder of their achievements. Please join us in congratulating Berkley Zache, Joe Washburn, Alexis Marscola, Kenadie Schrock, Abigail Roos, Brody Zielinski, and Josh Dolniak as they embark on this exciting new chapter!
Let’s take a closer look at where these athletes are headed and the accomplishments that have paved the way to their futures:
Berkley Zache – University of Oklahoma, Softball Berkley will be joining the renowned softball program at the University of Oklahoma, known for being among the top teams in the nation. With accolades including two-time PGF All-American, three-time all-state selection, and MaxPreps All-American, Berkley is consistently ranked as a top-five player in the class of 2025. Her dedication and skill will undoubtedly shine as part of the Sooners’ #1 recruiting class. Congratulations, Berkley!
Joe Washburn – Creighton University, Baseball Joe Washburn has committed to Creighton University, where he’ll bring his talents as a baseball player to the Bluejays. A standout shortstop on our team, Joe demonstrated exceptional skills and leadership last season. We can’t wait to see what he accomplishes on the field and in the classroom as a Bluejay.
Alexis Marscola – Mount Saint Joseph University, Softball Alexis Marscola will be joining Mount Saint Joseph University to continue her softball career. Alexis has been an invaluable player for our team, bringing both talent and passion to the field. We’re excited to watch her continue to grow and make her mark at Mount Saint Joseph.
Kenadie Schrock – Saint Mary’s College, Basketball Kenadie Schrock has signed with Saint Mary’s College to pursue her academic and athletic career in basketball. Known for her tenacity and skill on the court, Kenadie has been a driving force for our team and will undoubtedly continue to impress at the collegiate level. Congratulations, Kenadie!
Abigail Roos – University of South Carolina, Equestrian Abigail Roos will be heading to the University of South Carolina to compete in equestrian sports. Abigail’s dedication to her sport is evident in her impressive achievements and commitment to excellence. We look forward to seeing her represent Gamecocks with pride!
Brody Zielinski – Wabash Valley College, Baseball Brody Zielinski has committed to playing baseball at Wabash Valley College, where he’ll bring his skills and dedication to the diamond. Brody has been an essential part of our team, and we know he will thrive as a Warrior. Best of luck, Brody!
Josh Dolniak – Manchester University, Baseball Josh Dolniak will be continuing his baseball career at Manchester University. Known for his hard work and sportsmanship, Josh has been a tremendous asset to our team. We are confident he’ll bring the same dedication to Manchester University, and we wish him the best in his journey ahead.
These seven athletes have not only excelled in their respective sports but have also balanced their academic commitments with grace and determination. As they move on to the next level, we are excited to see them represent our school and achieve great things. Congratulations to Berkley, Joe, Alexis, Kenadie, Abigail, Brody, and Josh — we are proud of you and look forward to cheering you on!
