Although the official start to Track is February 15th, it is never too early to start getting in shape. Mr. McCarthy has set up a schedule for the distance team but is open to all athletes as long as they have finished Final Forms.

Distance runners will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the high school west parking lot at 3:45 pm (3:15 pm on Flex days). Anyone who wants to go on a run with a group may attend and the track will be open for use on Fridays. For those who plan on attending, please dress for the outdoors because it is still quite cold outside. 

Saturday morning runs are off-site and will be at Knollwood on 1/23 and at Erskine on 1/30. These morning runs are long runs and are perfect for building endurance. There will also be speed sessions held in the Main Gym on Monday (1/26) and Tuesday (1/27) from 7:30-8:45 pm and Thursday (1/28) at 6:30-7:30 am.
