Over this past weekend on Sunday April 25th, St. Joe hosted their first Best Buddies Friendship Walk at our very own track at school. Students gathered here on this sunny but a little windy day from 2-4 pm and walked supporting the inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Leaders of the Best Buddies club at our school set up a fun photo booth and posters around. They also blew up many balloons and hung them around along with streamers for decorations. Our school community was not the only ones participating in this event, people across the country gathered with their friends and family and countless locations to walk too. Many people donated to the best buddies website too during this time helping support this great cause in numerous ways. Thanks to everyone for their positive support and for coming out to walk!
